Joel Leffler
President

Joel Leffler’s security career started as a part-time security officer in 1988. A U.S. Army veteran with sales and marketing experience, Mr. Leffler saw tremendous challenge and opportunity in the private security sector. He advanced into management and helped transform a $700K company into one with annual revenue exceeding $5.5 million. Committed to upgrading the professionalism of the industry, Mr. Leffler and his brother, Leonard, founded Fortress Protective Services in 2001. His commitment to customer service, combined with talents for personnel selection and sales, have propelled the company’s continued growth.

Leonard Leffler
Vice President

Leonard Leffler joined the security industry in 1995, after serving the U.S. Marine Corps. He managed operations and finances in a family-owned security service firm until 2001. At that time, Mr. Leffler and his brother, Joel, founded Fortress Protective Services.

Mr. Leffler oversees business operations at Fortress. He also manages all security officer training, from pre-employment to ongoing education. In addition, he develops custom operating procedures for each Fortress account. Mr. Leffler’s active involvement in account management and his swift response contribute to the firm’s exceptional client retention rate.
